Trails Wellington is working on the rebuild of the Matarangi / Mt Vic and Makara Peak skills parks. Working with Wellington City Council and Matarangi Trails Builders, the plan is to redesign the existing area. The goal is to provide an area that enables riders to have greater opportunity for skill progression as they progress from beginner to skilled rider.

International Expertise

Trails Wellington is engaging international Skills Park expertise to complete the design work. These designs will need to go out to public consultation, and to WCC for endorsement of the design (based on feedback), before this project can commence build activities.
